Springboard is constantly in the process of looking for qualified group leaders for new groups being formed and to replace leaders who leave.

* GROUP LEADER - Facilitate a group of up to 15 adults with learning disabilities or Asperger’s for community-based, recreational, educational and social activities. Groups meet two weekday evenings and one Sat. or Sun. per month for a minimum of 2 hours in the Boston area. Qualified candidates must have min. 5 years human service experience with a BA/BS, Masters preferred. Experience with group dynamics, LD, AS, and familiarity with recreational opportunities in Greater Boston a big plus.

Groups generally meet at MBTA stations in the Boston/Cambridge area.  The ideal leader possesses a creative, independent, compassionate, optimistic, motivating personality and knows how to think outside the box.
