As your local Autism Support Center, TILL is committed to:

• being your main reference point in the community for resources, support and information regarding autism
• offering families exciting events and opportunities that promote empowerment, training and networking opportunities
• providing support and resources in a way that embraces families' ethnic, cultural and linguistic needs
• offering information on community resources and services in the areas of social skill development, sensory integration, vacation programs and more
• offering support and guidance for families in the Autism Waiver Program

We have an expertise in creating programs around the unique needs of each individual. TILL offers residential group home settings for individuals with ASD which offer structure and routine within a nurturing environment. For those needing less support we offer a variety of models such as Life Share and condos with the "invisible net of support" which is so valuable for growth, with staff assisting in daily living for as few or as many hours as needed.

TILL's new Autism Initiative program provides an innovative approach to working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Developed as an expansion of the TILL Central/Billerica program, we partnered with the Autism/Ladders Center to establish a highly specialized program for this population. Our shared expertise result in thorough, practical assessments and behaviorally based teaching plans suited to each individuals learning style.

In addition to TILL's range of comprehensive services, we promote partnership with families to support opportunities for them to be successful through their advocacy and by empowering each other with support and resource sharing. Families are empowered through knowledge and supported by meeting other families with similar interests. As a related example, in 2006, Boston Families for Autism (BFA), merged its grass roots family based organization with TILL's Family Support/autism services which resulted in further expansion of recreation and social skill development groups offering opportunities for friendships and for confidence building through participation in physical activities, hobbies, and the development of new interests. Our unique community connections activities vary with the seasons, ages, and locations of the participants.
