TILL Personal Care Attendants (PCA)
PCAs provide essential supports for personal daily needs including hygiene, nutrition, grooming, mobility and assistance in obtaining needed resources.
PCA services offer support to families and individuals to allow them to remain in their own home or apartment. The service supplements the basic structure of the person's residential living allowing people to retain their independence by having such personal assistance. PCA services often make the difference between placement in a residential facility or remaining in one's own setting. Eligibility is determined by a team of TILL clinicians including a nurse and occupational therapist. A person's primary care physician must confirm the person's medical eligibility. TILL's Skills Trainers work with individuals to ensure that they are receiving the services they need and for which they are eligible. Ongoing eligibility is determined together with the skills trainers and the individual and their families when appropriate. Contact Laura Barthel, PCA Manager 781-302-4682 or email at laura.barthel@tillinc.org "You are simply a lifesaver. I can say no more. My daughter had not been out of the house for so long until she met TILL's skill trainer." Katherine, mother of PCA client ![]() ![]() ![]() |
