Vocational Services—customized employment assessments, training and job placement

TILL’s approach to work is as varied as those who use our services. People exhibit different tolerances for work, require different levels of assistance and display varied levels of interest in working. We therefore provide customized employment services based on the person.

We match people to the vocational situation which is right for them. We match people to the vocational situation which is right for them. Services may include: comprehensive vocational assessment resulting in a practical evaluation of a vocational direction. Our vocational programs offer:
  • Individualized assistance from an Employment Specialist
  • A Job profile outlining your job requirements and strengths
  • Job matching skills
  • Job development
  • Interview and resume writing skills
  • Assistance with interviewing, scheduling, and networking
  • Job coaching to the degree and extent needed
  • Support and training to the employer to ensure success

Referrals come from public agencies, public and private schools, families and other private referral sources.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

TILL offers a unique opportunity for people to be involved in the training components of our entrepreneurial ventures which include food services and retail gift shops. Professionally trained chefs and artisans offer expert training in both areaswhich are then applied in our cafés gift shops and food service contracts to help people discover talents they didn't even know they had.
