Cravings, a Vocational Program for adults with Intellectual Disabilities, is seeking an energetic, goal driven, positive individual to join our small team! We are looking for someone who exudes joy and truly has a love for working with Adults with Disabilities and assisting with their community inclusion.
Responsibilities and expectations of this DSP position include, but are not limited to:

Researching and securing opportunities for community based activities and volunteerism.

Assisting Individuals with reaching their short and long term goals, as outlined in their ISA’s.

Transporting and accompanying Individuals to activities in the community.

Ability to work with a caseload of 3-4 Individuals, without becoming frustrated and keeping Individual’s safety at forefront.

Assist Senior DSP/ Artisan when necessary; working on current art projects, cleaning tasks, and transition times.

Maintain professionalism in the community and with participants; making sure Individuals portray themselves in the absolute best light at all times.

Encourage positivity and model such behavior.

Must be dependable, flexible, patient, consistent, and possess initiative and drive.
This position requires CPR/ First Aid certifications, among other trainings. Criminal background check and Driving Record check are required.
