LPN- Work within TILL's Day Programs in Chelsea and Watertown and be involved with maintaining the overall health and well being of the adults who attend. Increase medical awareness and knowledge of TILL's staff members. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) report directly to the Director of Health Services with joint clinical oversight provided by the Registered Nurse at the Day Program. Full and part time per diem hours available. M-F. $26-$33/hr.
Minimum: current LPN license in Massachusetts. Preferred at least 1 year as an LPN and 1 year in a community health setting working with a developmentally disabled population. Computer skills necessary. Current driver's license and car are required. Must possess good writing and oral skills to effectively communicate current needs and objectives, as well as for providing effective training and consultation to staff. Must be able to physically assist individuals in activities of daily living, including lifting, hand-over-hand assistance, and passive restraints. CPR is a condition of employment.
