Day Support Professional
Day Support Professionals are an integral part of the Day Services Team, assisting participants with all components of their individual support plan, including independent living skills, self-advocacy and recreational activities according to the individual's needs, abilities and choices. Work with individuals with ID/ DD to provide daily community activities.
Responsibilities
• Provide essential support to program participants, independent living skills, self-advocacy, and recreational activities according to the individual's needs, abilities and choices.
• Assist individuals with planning and implementation of daily activity schedules and routines, including engaging learning and social/recreational activities.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, annual meetings, and all required trainings.
• Willing to enjoy a variety of activities
• Resourceful and engaging when creating individualized activities in the community environment
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
