Outpatient Mental Health Clinician
A graduate of The University of Arizona, Tucson with her bachelor’s degree and her graduate degree from Boston University School of Social Work , Maris has worked with women and children who have experienced domestic violence and homeless populations, at residential treatment programs for children and adolescents. She has used CBT to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, and Autism.
Maris describes herself as “a partner in supporting her clients wherever they are and wherever they want to be in their lives. It’s important for clients to feel empowered to make choices and grow. The therapeutic relationship is key in having this happen.”
