Urvi completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Mumbai with a master’s degree from Boston College. Urvi has worked with adults experiencing GAD, MDD, PTSD, BD, insomnia, adjustment disorder, grief and loss, cognitive decline and dementia using CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, grief counseling techniques, and Psychoeducation. Urvi also draws from narrative and strength-based practices, individualizing her approach for each individual’s unique needs and wants within treatment. She helps individuals navigate treatment in a way that feels authentic, collaborative, and attuned to who they are.
Urvi views therapy as a collaborative and empowering space where individuals can explore their stories, process challenges, and move toward meaningful change. Her goal is to create a warm, supportive environment rooted in trust, curiosity, and compassion. “I see you as the expert on your own life,” she writes, “and I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you uncover strengths, gain insight, and develop tools to navigate life with greater confidence and clarity. Therapy with me can include both deep reflection and practical tools, and at times, even laughter and lightness. It’s a privilege to witness people reconnect with themselves, and I approach that work with humility, warmth, and hope.”
