TILL Farms in Westboro is a fully operational farm offering vocational training for people on the autism spectrum or with other specialized needs. This specialized, therapeutic program combines TILL's expertise in providing quality services with learning opportunities unique to this natural setting, including gardening, woodworking and other highly functional tasks. In partnership with staff, our farmer-interns prepare the soil; plant, nurture and harvest produce; and learn craftsmanship - all while working on individualized social and community goals.
In addition to serving individuals in TILL's vocational and day programs, TILL Farms partners with local school systems to introduce high-school-age students with specialized needs to the art of farming, allowing them to explore farming in a pre-vocational setting as they develop confidence and work toward learning goals.
